Anatomy and physiology is a pre-requisite for this course.
The course is composed of two aspects:
• The Theory of massage
• Practical based learning
The theory of massage covers areas such as the history, consultation techniques, contra-indications, business, health and safety and legislation. Once you have covered the theory of massage you will then cover the principles and practices of practical massage. You will explore when to use different massage techniques to maximise the impact of massage for your clients.
This is a rewarding course which prepares you for becoming a professional therapist. Once qualified in massage you can then continue your education to become a specialist in the area of massage.
Once you have qualified you will be awarded The Holistic & Beauty Training Company Certificate in Massage Therapy and will be able to gain full insurance through The Guild of Holistic Therapy.
The industry is growing at a massive rate and new opportunities are now available in both the public and private sectors for professional Therapists.
Student insurance is mandatory for the course. |
